Private & International School Fairs in Malaysia

Since the quota for Malaysian students in international schools was lifted earlier this year, Malaysian parents are beginning to explore the option of sending their children to international schools. Therefore, there was a need to have a fair that focused solely on bringing together private and international schools in one location in order for parents to find out more about educational options in these schools. Furthermore, there is a growing expatriate community in Malaysia who want quality education for their children.

Mint Communications, organiser of the first Private & International School Fair (PISF) in Malaysia last year, is happy to announce that it will be organising the 2nd annual Private & International School Fair in Kuala Lumpur on 20-21 July 2013 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre. This fair aims to provide the ideal platform for schools to meet with parents, and for parents to find a suitable school for their children.

The first ever Private & International School Fair in Malaysia was held on 14-15 July 2012 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre. It was well-attended by over 7,000 visitors comprising mostly parents who were exploring the option of sending their children to private and international schools. As the quota for Malaysian students in international schools was lifted last year, there was a need to inform parents of the opportunities for their children to study in international schools. This platform was created specially to bring private and international schools under one roof so that expatriate and local Malaysian parents can find out more about educational options in these schools in one convenient location.

A major advantage of visiting the fair is that parents will be able to meet with representatives, including principals and teachers, from these schools, and compare curriculum, fees, and facilities among others, and find a suitable school for their children, at one central and convenient location. They will be able to meet representatives from many schools in one location during the fair. When parents find a suitable school during the fair, they can then pay the school a visit. This will save time and effort.

Please visit our website www.PrivateInternationalSchoolFair.com or www.pisf.asia for the latest list of schools that will be exhibiting in the upcoming KL fair in July 2013, as well as schools that exhibited in our fairs in 2012.

Since the fair in KL, Mint Communications has held similar fairs albeit in a smaller scale in Penang for the northern region and in Johor Bahru for the southern region on 4 Nov and 9 Dec 2012 respectively. The fairs in Penang and Johor Bahru in 2013 will be held on 6 Oct and 27 Oct at Traders Hotel Penang and Puteri Pacific Hotel Johor Bahru respectively.
