Communications and Marketing Manager

Job Purpose

The Communications and Marketing Manager will be accountable for raising awareness and generating enquiries for the Regent’s School Pattaya.

 

The Communications and Marketing Manager will take responsibility for external communications and marketing, including digital marketing, media relations, PR, publications and brand management.

Strategic / Planning

§  Assist with the development and evaluation of marketing strategies for the school to deliver business goals and enhance relationships with key stakeholders.

§  Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of the action plans to deliver the marketing strategies

§  Work with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of the marketing strategy consistently throughout the school

 

§  Marketing plan and annual plan is in place

 

Marketing

§  Track the implementation of the marketing strategy and propose actions to improve pupil numbers to target levels.

§  Maintain and develop the website as a marketing tool particularly in regard to content and SEO

§  Increase online presence through digital marketing and social media

§  Develop a range of publications that supports the work of the Admissions and Marketing team

 

§  Enquiry rates

Communications

§  To increase awareness and visibility of the Regents School Pattaya

§  Ensure an appropriate and diverse range of tools exist to implement efficient and effective communications to agreed audiences

§  Develop and manage a media function at the school, including crisis management

§  To recognise and maximise PR and media opportunities

§  To increase understanding of the Regents School Pattaya’s distinctive proposition

§  To work with internal school teams as well as third party agencies when appropriate to ensure all new materials are consistent

 

§  Enquiry to visits conversions rates

§  Increase in word of mouth enquiries

Events

§  Create and project manage an annual programme of educational events that positions the Regents School Pattaya as a high performance learning environment 

§  Maximise opportunities presented by school memberships including FOBISSEA 

 

Brand Management

§  Manage and protect the Regent School Pattaya’s brand

§  Ensure all signage and displays are representative of the school brand.

§  Ensure all school collateral, communications and events adhere to the school brand guidelines.

§  Ensure the Communications and Marketing team are fully aware of their responsibilities as school ambassadors and at all times demonstrate associated behaviors 

 

§  Brand compliance

§  Increase in brand recognition

 

Competitor Analysis

§  Develop good understanding of the international schools market in Pattaya, the Eastern Seaboard, and Thailand covering marketing proposition, collateral, student numbers other performance criteria, as required

 

§  Database of international schools market information maintained

 

Research and data management

§  Work across the school to ensure the Regents School Pattaya is a data rich organisation

§  Prepare timely reports including both statistics and narrative on marketing and communications activities

§  Working with the Head of Admissions and Marketing, conduct regular customer market research to understand perceptions of the offer by parents and students, as well as third party influencers (companies, relocation agents)

 

§  Regular reports and analysis

§  Database of local market information maintained

§  Completed agreed number of customer market research surveys
