Admissions Manager

Job Purpose

The Admissions Manager will be accountable for driving the admissions programmes and processes for the Regents School Pattaya to increase visits and applications from prospective students and their families.


The Admissions Manager will take responsibility for delivering a first class user experience and assist families as they make the important decision of where to educate their children.

Measures of Performance

Strategic / Planning

§  Assist with the development and evaluation of admissions strategies for the school to deliver business goals and enhance relationships with key stakeholders.

§  Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of the action plans to deliver the admissions strategies

§  Work with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of the admissions strategy consistently throughout the school


§  Admissions strategy and annual plan is in place



§  Deliver a first class, individualised admissions process from enquiry to application including the admissions tours

§  Ensure the admissions processes are intuitive and seamless for the prospective families and students

§  Ensure all members of the school community understands and fulfills their admissions responsibilities

§  Ensure the admissions team understands their responsibilities and  provides an exceptional user experience for prospective families throughout the admissions process

§  Organise the efficient running of entrance assessments, scholarship examinations and other activities associated with the admission process

§  Ensure that applications adhere to school admissions policies and procedures


§  Visits to starters conversions rates

§  Increase in word of mouth enquiries

Customer Service

§  Work in partnership with the Head of Admissions and Marketing to implement Nord Anglia Education’s customer service standards that deliver an exceptional user experience

§  Ensure families receive professional support, guidance and expert advice across the full admissions process

§  Liaise with marketing colleagues to ensure marketing communications are dispatched in a timely fashion


§  Increase in word of mouth enquiries

Brand Management

§  To help ensure the school look and feel meets the Nord Anglia Education standard

§  Ensure the Admissions team are fully aware of their responsibilities as school ambassadors and at all times demonstrate associated behaviors 

§  Represent the school at conferences and exhibitions as required by the Head of Admissions & Marketing


§  Brand compliance

§  Increase in brand recognition

Competitor Analysis

§  With the Communications & Marketing Manager, develop good understanding of the international schools market in Pattaya, the Eastern Seaboard, and Thailand covering marketing proposition, collateral, student numbers other performance criteria, as required


§  Database of international schools market information maintained


Research and data management

§  Work across the school to ensure the Regents School Pattaya is a data rich organisation

§  Ensure accurate and meaningful data is maintained on prospective pupils, parents, agents and others

§  Ensure the Admissions Office complies with its responsibilities to maintain the confidentiality of prospective parents and pupils.

§  Prepare timely reports including both statistics and narrative on admissions activities


§  Regular reports and analysis

§  Database of local market information maintained

Staff Management

§  Manage and develop the Admissions Team


Relationship Management

·         Assist the Head of Admissions & Marketing to build positive relationships with agents, feeder schools, corporate contacts and others



§  To be an active and enthusiastic member of the team

§  Monitor admissions best practice from across the sector and act as a conduit for its introduction to The Regent’s School





Person Specification







Proven track record with at least three years in a customer facing role


Experience of converting enquiries to agreed levels and targets


Planning priorities and delivering against agreed service levels and targets


Experience of enhancing ‘the user experience’ 


Experience of creating a customer focused culture


Managing and developing staff


Working with people from different cultures and countries


Familiar with the National Curriculum of England and the IB Diploma


Experience of working within a school or university admissions function
