Welcome to FOBISSEA

As an organization we are constantly looking at ways to meet our objectives more effectively. In the future we plan to develop stronger links with other federations of British international schools in order to take full advantage of opportunities to improve the profile and needs of British international schools and their students and teachers, with policy makers in London who make decisions about education that affect those providing a British style education abroad. We plan to strengthen the relationship between our Professional Development Centre in Singapore and the schools clustered in various countries within the region. Our Heads and Senior Manger conferences are already becoming more educational in their focus rather than organisational. We plan to continue to further improve the breadth and quality of the events established to provide students with the opportunity to compete and collaborate with each other thorough sports, music and the performing arts. As the Federation expands we will also be reviewing our organizational structures in order to ensure that the infrastructures that underpin our activities remain strong and robust in relation to the demands being made upon them.

FOBISSEA is, more than anything, an organization of educational fellowship. Our students, our teachers and our school leaders enjoy being together. I am sure you will find it to be the same as you come into contact with our schools and our Federation.
